GiAngelis is one of the artisan confectioners who contacted me seeking to highlight the value of their ingredients and tools, specifically to create new Easter packaging for 2022.
Throughout the creative process and preliminary meetings, we defined some essential items: a whisk, a Kenwood mixer, cocoa powder, and wheat flour. In addition, we used the original French arabesques from page 7 of their brand manual.
I developed a sequence between these graphic elements to form lines of design. These designs formed the basic visual unit of the packaging. After this stage was complete, to add a "texture" finish, I emphasized the graphic units one above the other.
The result is a kind of "visual text," composing the entirety of the packaging, elegantly made of fabric.
