Youniverse

Youniverse is a holistic platform (an approach that considers complex systems as an interconnected whole, where the parts are better understood in relation to the total) founded by two partners, one residing in Brazil and the other in Italy.

The execution of this project was particularly challenging because, literally, my mission was to represent the entire universe through the aesthetics of an icon. How could everything we know fit within an Instagram profile picture, for example?

After studying numerous planetary movements, the basis for generating alternatives, I arrived at the most minimalist result possible, alluding to the rotation of some planets around a larger center.

It's interesting to think that, while it represents a dynamic inherent to the universe – the largest measure of space/time we can imagine as concrete – there is also the inverse interpretation: what happens in an atom, one of the smallest structures known to science.

The logo functions, simultaneously, ultimately, as the whole and as the fundamental particle of life.
