A series of photographic records of various historical details of the city of Ouro Preto (be it a window, a fountain, a statue, an iron gate, etc.), with the application of intense high contrast.
Detail: High contrast is the manipulation of the colors of an image, with the aim of isolating light and dark as much as possible. In this case, I synthesized the base photographs in black and white, transforming them into light and shadow.
Most of the images underwent graphic editing in the sense of transforming the original geometry to create textures and, to a large extent, abstract concepts.
Something that permeates my aesthetic vision is precisely intense light and shadow, as well as the mimicry of objects. In other words, "giving life" to something that, at first, is inanimate.
