Heartwired
Project type
Digital painting
Date
2023
This print, while not an example of the visceral intensity that characterizes the essence of my artistic identity, represents an important point in my professional journey in art, as it is a reinterpretation of my first released print.
The original concept remains: in addition to the allusion to the Metallica album - "Hardwired...to self-destruct" - we have a heart with plugs and wires in place of blood, representing the soul connected to sound, to heavy music.
In this case, I opted for a more modern approach, with vibrant, almost sci-fi colors, innovating in the result. I risked fluorescent, more "extroverted" sensations in this new version of my inspirational artwork from over 10 years ago.
